At the beginning of lockdown pupils, parents and teachers at Berkshire and Henley Dance pulled together to produce a fundraiser dance video. Our aim was to bring a little happiness at what was a very stressful and isolating time, but also the raise money for our two chosen charities NHS Charities Together and UNICEF. Now lockdown is drawing to a close we would like to share our donations so far and see if anyone else would like to donate to our cause. The video can be found on our home page and here is the link to donate: https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/BerkshireAndHenleyDance
In just two short weeks we raised 60% of our target and now we are at 77% of our £500 target. I would love it if we could return in September having said we raised £500 for charity. So if you watch our video and it brings you just the littlest bit of happiness then please donate if you can.
We are delighted to announce that we will now be working with the highly esteemed school Cranford House in Moulsford. We will be providing lunchtime and after school clubs in Ballet, Contemporary, Contemporary Fusion, Hiphop, Street and Musical Theatre Dance. It’s a privilege to be invited to teach at such a highly rated school and we look forward to working with them to further the pupils education.

Didcot’s Got Talent
On Saturday 29th June one of our very own little dancers will be competing in didcot’s got talent. Jana is an exceptional dancer for an 11 year old. She is a committed and passionate dancer. I’m sure she will do very well in the competition and we can’t wait to see her perform in the Cornerstone Theatre in Didcot.
NC tour A Canadian who lives in North Carolina, choreographer-on-the-rise Helen Simoneau is using her newest evening-length work, Caribou, to take a closer look at heritage, assimilation and identity.
